An All-Day Kickball Tournament & Benefit will be held at Quit Qui Oc Sports Complex located north of City Park. Register the day of the event. Cost is $35 fee for 7 player team. Event starts at 11 am. Top 3 teams pay out. Enjoy food, refreshments and raffles. Live music by Mommy's Little Monsters Band from 4-8 pm. Event is open to public. Watch fireworks at Quit Qui Oc Sports Complex for a nominal fee of $5 per carload (limited parking). No carry-ins and no soliciting. All event proceeds benefit Carrie Beyer (Treatment for Brain Tumor / Cancer.

Fireworks
Fourth of July fireworks will be shot off around 9:15 pm on July 4. Watch them at Plymouth City Park Surhke Rd (off Hwy 67) free viewing and at Quit Qui Oc Sports Complex for a $5 per car load. Parking fee donation to be placed towards the Carrie Beyer Benefit. Fireworks rain date is July 5. Thanks to the generous donation of the following contributors who helped make the fireworks display possible.

The Freedom Run is a calibrated route along beautiful Lake Michigan starting and ending at Sheboygan County YMCA, 812 Broughton Drive. Sponsored by St. Nicholas Hospital, the Freedom Run '09 benefits the Friends of St. Nicholas Hospital. There will be a 5-mile and 2-mile run and a 2-mile-walk (non-competitive). Deadline to register online is 12 noon on July 2. There is an additional charge of $5 for registrations received after June 19. Registration from 6:30 - 7:00 am day of event. Showers will be available until 11 am to all entrants after the event.

All proceeds benefit Safe Harbor, Professional Business Women’s Resource Center at the Plymouth Public Library and our annual Scholarship Fund. Last year we had over 300 participants!

Chaplaincy Picnic "Up Nort - Into the Wilderness"
The Sheboygan County Chaplaincy ministry brings God’s Word to the residents of our area nursing homes and assisted living centers. The picnic will begin with a worship service at 10:30 am. Come to the Sheboygan County Fairgrounds in Plymouth and enjoy outdoor displays, hands-on demonstrations, great food and entertainment.  The Clauson Family Music Show will be performing a stage show with plenty of pick’n, strumin’, fiddlin’ and comedy. Bingo, door prizes and a silent auction are also on the bill of fare. The Chaplaincy Ministry and Deaconess Intern Program are made possible solely through donations.Your donation entitles you to all activities and food. Civil War Weekend - (920) 526-3271
Two full days of Civil War drama unfold in the largest Civil War re-enactment and encampment in Wisconsin. A full schedule of activities extends from 10-5 pm both days, with two authentic battles re-enacted each day — at 11 am and 2 pm. Watch the spectacle of hundreds of soldiers (cavalry, infantry and artillery) as they struggle across the field of conflict. Experience the 1860's clash of arms between North and South as Union and Confederate troops set up camp, conduct drills and offer a variety of demonstrations. Visit with President Abraham Lincoln and listen to his perspective on the war. Civilian and women's issues, a medical field hospital, and music of the Civil War era are presented interactively each day, and special hands-on experiences abound. Expanded food and beverage offerings and an extensive array of Civil War items are available for sale on site.

Experience a mid-19th-century celebration of Christmas at the Wade House. There will be hands-on activities for young and old, period games, stories, and horse-drawn wagon rides. Event will run from 10-4 pm. Adults $11; children (5-17) $5.50; students and senior citizens (65 and over) $9.25; family (two adults and two or more dependent children 5-17) $30. Horse-drawn transportation on the site included in ticket cost.
